Security

• Sign in with a code we email you, with Google, or with a password if you prefer. Codes mean there's no password to steal.
• Turn on two-step sign-in in your profile for an extra code from an authenticator app.
• We email you when your account is used on a new device, and you can sign out everywhere at once.
• Changing payment details, changing who owns a society and downloading attendee lists all ask you to confirm it's you if you haven't signed in recently.

• Every part of the database has rules about who can read and change it, checked by the database itself.
• Payment receipts and verification documents are private, and only open through links that expire.
• We never handle card payments. Societies are paid directly.
• Backups are encrypted and stored separately every night.

If you think you've found a security problem, email campusummahsupport@gmail.com with the details and how to reproduce it. Please don't access other people's data, disrupt the site or share the problem publicly before we've fixed it. We'll reply within a few days and tell you when it's fixed.
